Message From The President
I want to thank you for your interest in CSP Global’s 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
One needn’t look very hard to see just how important a role nurses play in our society. In good times and in bad, nurses are there to care for us, to lend a shoulder and to advocate for us — to welcome us into the world and to care for us as we pass into the next, and at every point in between.
It shows in the respect and admiration nurses receive. Year after year, nurses are consistently ranked as the most trusted profession in America, often by a large margin.
Despite this, nurses are in short supply across the country — the result of a host of issues ranging from an increasing prevalence of chronic conditions and a growing number of people moving into retirement age to many nursing schools’ lacking the resources to admit larger numbers of nursing students.
Fortunately, some universities, like CSP Global, are in a unique position to grow the number of registered nurses by offering Accelerated BSN programs designed specifically for students who already have college experience.
In addition to offering a new ABSN program right here in St. Paul, Minnesota, we were fortunate to have the resources to be able to assume CSP Global–Portland’s Accelerated BSN program in Portland, Oregon, allowing for a seamless transfer for students.
Through these efforts, we are committed to helping meet the shortage of registered nurses head on and to developing compassionate, knowledgeable nurses who are well prepared to make a positive impact on the world around them.
